The Hero4 Silver costs $1,-99 in the EU, £199 in the USA, and £249 in Australia.
The GoPro HERO5 Black costs $2,-99, and the Hero5 Silver starts at $1.99 (£1.79).
If you want the best bang for your buck, you can also upgrade to the GoPro Hero5 Black, Hero5 White, or HERO5.
The new HERO6 models also have different cameras, but all have the same sensor and have the latest firmware.

A new version of the HERO camera will launch in the second half of next year, so you’ll be able to upgrade from a HERO3 to a HERO4 for £349, $599 or $699.
GoPro also has plans to bring back the HERO8, the most expensive HERO camera, in 2018.
The latest version of GoPro will be priced at $699 (£449) and £799.
There are also new waterproof models in the works, which will feature the same 8 megaphones and higher resolution sensor.
